Refund Policy

Money-back terms for ProcBoss Cloud, in the same voice as everything else we ship: plain, specific, and short on fine print. The trial is the honest sales pitch; the refund window is the safety net under it.
The short version
Take the free trial first — it is the full product and it costs nothing. If you pay anyway and ProcBoss is not for you, write to us within 14 days of the charge and you get your money back, no interrogation. Refunds go back the way the payment came in, your account drops to the Free plan, and your data stays put.
The trial comes first
Every account starts with a 14-day trial of the Growth plan — every paid feature, no payment details collected up front, nothing to cancel. The trial exists so the refund window is a fallback you should rarely need: by the time you are paying, you already know what you bought.
What qualifies
First purchase — full refund. The first charge of a paid plan on your account is refundable in full within 14 days of the charge date. No reason required — “it wasn't for me” is a complete sentence.
Renewals — pro-rata. A renewal charge is refundable within 14 days of the charge, pro-rated for the full unused months of the term. A monthly renewal used for two days refunds those two days' worth minus the rest; an annual renewal used for three months refunds nine.
Upgrades and fixes. If the problem is a wrong plan, a duplicate charge, or an invoice that should never have existed, those are corrections, not refunds — email us and they get fixed with priority, whatever the date.
How to ask
Email support@procboss.dev from the address on your account, with the account name and — if you have it — the invoice number. A human reads it. If you would rather downgrade to Free instead of a refund, say so; same email, same turnaround.
How fast, and where it lands
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method — the channel that sent the money is the channel it returns to, which is both the honest way and the one your bank expects. Expect it to land within 5 to 10 business days of approval; we cannot hurry your bank's side of the trip, but we can tell you the moment ours is done.
After a refund
The account settles onto the Free plan — your servers, alerts and history stay exactly where they are, within Free-tier quotas; anything over quota pauses until the count comes down or the plan goes back up. A refund is not an eviction. If you want to come back later, the door is open — though the 14-day window applies to a first purchase once per account.
The honest limits
Repeated cycles of subscribing and refunding on one account can be declined, and a refund does not reset the window for the next one. If a payment already went to chargeback with your bank, that payment is in the bank's hands — talk to us first in the future; it is faster for everyone. And if we ever refunded you wrongly — wrong amount, wrong account — tell us and we make it right in both directions.
